Hi

I hope this is the right place gor my problem

I have a Biostar motherboard with onboard graphics. I have now installed a PCI E graphics card but when I put connection in the new port i get no display -- only if I put in back in my original onboard connection

I have installed the drivers for new card so I am at a loss as in Device manager and everest nVIDIA GeForce 7300 SE/7200 GS Video Adapter is showing but also obviously southbridge still has South Bridge: nVIDIA nForce 6100-4xx (MCP61) showing

Do I Have to switch off the onboard graphics somehow through the Bios?

Motherboard ID 06/16/2008-NF-MCP61-6A61KB0CC-00

Any help would be appreciated again and if you need more info let me know

Regards

Craig

Looks like you have a Biostar NF61V Micro AM2

You may have to, have you checked the manual?

If you dont have the manual, you can download it from here: http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/mb/content.php?S_ID=28
